Our federal government client seeks experienced Emergency Preparedness Specialists with Business (non IT) expertise for an immediate contract, the length of which could be several months and has yet to be determined. The duties will vary as the contract progresses and are listed in the Qualifications and Experience required.

Qualifications and Experience:
The mandatory requirements include a valid Secret security clearance; experience working in the field of emergency management; working in/with an emergency operations centre; developing, documenting, and implementing emergency plans, standard operating procedures, checklists, and job aids; and participating in emergency management exercises.
Having work experience in this area with federal government is an asset but not a mandatory requirement.
The candidate should have knowledge of the following: Canada's emergency management framework, the Incident Command System (ICS), and/or Incident Management System, and emergency planning principles, methodologies, techniques, etc

 

Must Have:
Continuity Planning at Intermediate level with 2 - 5 years experience
Emergency Planning at Intermediate level with 2 - 5 years experience
